Qi Gong + Meditation

What is QI- Gong (chi gong)?
Qi Gong is a mind-body practice that originated in China and involves gentle movements, deep breathing, and meditation.
It aims to balance and enhance the flow of vital energy or “qi” throughout the body

The Class will start with some gentle, yet dynamic movements to ground yourself and bring awareness to the present moment, and then you will proceed to a laying down meditation + relaxation with the beats of the gongs.

Qi Gong is a mind-body practice that originated in China and involves gentle movements, deep breathing, and meditation. 
It aims to balance and enhance the flow of vital energy or “qi” throughout the body.  

The practice of Qi Gong can help reduce stress, improve physical health, and increase mental clarity and emotional well-being. It is often used as a complementary therapy in traditional Chinese medicine. That’s why many of our Acupuncture patients usually opt for this class. 

 

No, you don’t need any prior experience to join a meditation class. All levels are welcome. The meditation part of this class it’s in a comfortable laying down position so you will not have to be sited the 60 min.   
After the Qi Gong practice (around 20 min) the teacher will guide you first into a relaxation mode, focusing in your breathing till you eventually reach a meditative state. 

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to sit or lie down comfortably for an extended period. Avoid wearing anything too tight or restrictive. 

This is a 60-minute class which is divided in 2 stages: 
1) Qi gong dynamic practice to make the energy flow and ground yourself (30 min) 
2) Relaxation/ Meditation (30 min)

For Sound Healing and Meditation classes the tolerance period is of 10 minutes.
