Sound healing

Sound healing is a sound bath session in which different instruments are played and vibrate in a certain frequency that aligns with our own vibration making our brain release energetic waves throughout our body helping us remove to move emotional blockages from trauma, and even stimulate altered states of consciousness. We have 3 different types of Sound Healing sessions at The Chi Room:
  • Gong Bath
  • Tibetan Bowls
  • Crystal Bowls

  • Stress Reduction: Sound healing’s ability to induce relaxation and reduce stress levels is widely recognized and appreciated.

  • Pain Management: The potential to alleviate chronic pain conditions through sound healing is a significant benefit for those seeking non-invasive pain relief. 
  • Emotional Release: Sound healing can aid in releasing pent-up emotions, fostering emotional well-being and catharsis. 
  • Mindfulness and Presence: The meditative aspects of sound healing can promote mindfulness, aiding in better focus, clarity, and overall mental well-being.


Meditation is helpful for bringing our attention and awareness to our thoughts, doing our best not to attach to the story of them and bringing ourselves back to the present moment.

Our Meditation Class fusion with the ancient practice of Qi Gong. The Class will start with some gentle, yet dynamic movements to ground yourself and bring awareness to the present moment, and then you will proceed to a laying down meditation + relaxation with the beats of the gongs. Some of the benefits of Meditation and Qi Gong are: 

  • Improved Energy Flow: Qi Gong practices aim to balance the flow of energy (Qi) in the body, promoting vitality and overall well-being. 
  • Stress Reduction: Like meditation, Qi Gong can induce a relaxed state, reducing stress and supporting a sense of inner peace.

  • Increased Flexibility and Balance: Regular practice of Qi Gong movements can improve flexibility, balance, and coordination, leading to better physical mobility. 

Energising Breathwork

Energizing breathwork is a type of breathing exercise that involves taking deep, intentional breaths to increase oxygen flow throughout the body, promote relaxation, and boost energy levels. 

It typically involves a series of rapid, deep inhales and exhales, followed by a period of holding the breath, and then releasing it slowly.  

Breathwork can have a range of benefits, including: 

  •  Increased relaxation 
  •  Reduced stress and anxiety 
  • Improved focus and concentration 
  • Increased energy and vitality 
  • Improved respiratory function, and more. 

Therapeutic Yoga: (All levels)

Therapeutic yoga is an adaptation of yoga that applies yogic principles and techniques to heal in a holistic approach. 

It is a combination of gentle yoga movements (Asanas), breath techniques (Pranayama), chakra stimulation, vocal tones(Mantra), sound therapy and different forms of meditation. 

Sessions tend to be relaxing and deeply nourishing this activates the parasympathetic phase of your nervous system which helps you to relax, rejuvenate and counter stress, and release your physical and emotional pain (trauma, anxiety). 

During the session, we focus on self-care and deep connection with ourselves in an energy form.
